The Moonlight Flit 2017 1/2 marathon, 10K, 6.5K

SAT 28 JAN 5.30PM
Conservative Club, Station Road, Totnes, TQ9 5HW

News: We’ve just added a 6.5K option as we know that 10 hilly kilometres in the dark is too far for some. The 6.5K also has the distinct advantage of only having one climb and is open to people aged 14 and above (see profile below)

Register at the Conservative Club in Totnes. There’s parking there or details of additional parking will be in the Race Manual. Moving to the Conservative club means a pint doesn’t cost an arm & a leg & more importantly our fantastic caterers Kitchen Table are able to supply the food – no more dismal soup!

The routes are predominantly off-road but with some short tarmac sections too along with some tough climbs. The half-marathon includes the notorious Post Box Hill and the Charcoal Burners descent.

All three races are a mass start by the river approximately 400 yards from HQ (we’ll walk you down there). And all three races start up the tough off-road Fishchowters Lane. The finish is by the start (moved slightly from last year)

Race entry includes: electronic chip timing, fully marked out course using poles, arrows & flashing lights , feed station, Birch wood finisher’s medal, bottled water for all finishers,  free number transfer if you are unable to run, category prizes & spot prizes (via our free to join Strava club).

Team Competition & Series Points

We now have an optional team competition. If you don’t have a team use your club name which will also qualify for the team competition. The team’s time is the time of the first three team members to cross the line added together. Your best 4 results from 7 races count for Series Points. However if you only manage two or three races you’ll still appear in the results
